Ryan Peterson has dedicated his legal career to helping families navigate complex legal issues with a strategic and compassionate approach. Since 2017, he has assisted hundreds of clients in all phases of family law cases.
Beyond family law, Ryan has experience in insurance defense and landlord-tenant law, bringing a well-rounded legal perspective to his practice. His ability to effectively mediate disputes, craft strong legal arguments, and advocate for his clients has earned him recognition among peers and clients alike.
Ryan earned his law degree from Washburn University School of Law in 2016, graduating with Dean’s Honors (top 20%)—an achievement made even more impressive by completing his J.D. in just two years. His focus on Family Law and Litigation provided a strong foundation for his legal career.
Before practicing law, Ryan’s background included a Master’s Degree in Theatre Arts from Brigham Young University and eight years of teaching college theatre. He later worked as an employment counselor for people with disabilities, sharpening his skills in client counseling, case management, and advocacy—qualities that now define his legal practice.
